Peer Support

Respite Stays

For individuals struggling with mental health and substance use recovery. A peaceful, no-cost sanctuary to rest, reflect, and reconnect.

Consistent Support

Peer support available during entire stay, in‑person and via the warmline.

Private Space

Private bedrooms with locking doors; lockboxes available for medications.

Self-Referral

Start with a phone conversation to determine fit; guests refer themselves.

Connection Space

Connections and mutual support with individuals with shared experience.

Wellness Planning

Optional support to create a personalized Wellness Plan.

Basics of a Stay

  • Non‑medical support.

  • Short term.

  • Guests must be 18+ and residents of Wisconsin.

  • Guests manage their own transportation, medications, personal care, and meals.

  • Basic food staples (milk, bread, etc.) provided; full kitchen access.

  • Laundry available only in emergency situations.

Warmline

A listening ear and resource information when you need it. The warmline is available Mon 7:00 AM to Fri 7:00 AM for support and resource information.

What to Expect
  • Peer support from staff with lived experience.

  • Resource information and where to find help.

  • Ongoing engagement and community awareness.
